BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Start with the right preparation.
A solid general German foundation is essential. A placement discussion should establish your speaking, listening and writing needs. Official examination registration is a separate process: the relevant authority or chamber determines accepted certificates and referral requirements.
Understand the official examination.
FSP assesses professional language in pharmaceutical situations. Several chambers describe a three-part structure and C1-oriented specialist communication; task details and permitted aids vary. A B2 certificate alone is not the same as demonstrating professional language readiness.

01 · Patient-centred consultation
Structure a conversation: understand the request, clarify relevant information and explain in everyday language without losing precision.
Practice focus
Roleplay a consultation with follow-up questions and unexpected changes in the scenario.
02 · Working with medicine information
Read supplied Fachinformation or patient information, identify relevant points and communicate them clearly.
Practice focus
Explain directions, precautions and an information gap without inventing missing facts.
03 · Written pharmaceutical communication
Turn a conversation into a concise, structured written account. Practise the document types required by your provider.
Practice focus
Write a consultation note or a provider-appropriate reporting exercise from a simulated dialogue.
04 · Professional exchange
Present a case to a colleague, distinguish reported information from your interpretation and ask for clarification.
Practice focus
Give a structured handover and answer spontaneous questions using suitable professional terminology.
05 · Spontaneous speaking & terminology
Develop fluency beyond rehearsed scripts, explain terms and organise a short professional contribution where the provider requires it.
Practice focus
Respond to an unfamiliar prompt, summarise a short text and repair a misunderstanding.
06 · Provider-focused simulation & revision
Bring the communication tasks together under a practice format appropriate to the chosen examining body.
Practice focus
Complete a mock sequence, review your performance and turn feedback into personal revision priorities.
SEE THE LEARNING APPROACH
From an answer to a reasoned response.
An original illustrative task, not an actual examination question or individual medical advice.
THE TASK
A realistic communication challenge.
A patient reports an unexpected experience while taking a medicine. Use the supplied fictional case information to ask clarifying questions, explain the next communication step, write a concise note and hand over the case to a colleague.
THE FEEDBACK
Understand what to improve.
Was the conversation understandable and logically structured?
Were important details clarified rather than assumed?
Did the written note preserve the information accurately?
Could the learner respond spontaneously to follow-up questions?
INDIVIDUAL REVIEW & SIMULATION

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES
Preparation, in their own words.
Customer-submitted experiences. Individual experiences vary; these are not promises of examination outcomes.
The oral exam simulations for the FSP were a game-changer. They trained me to stay calm under pressure when explaining drug interactions and contraindications to a strict German examining board.
Mohamed Elsahafi
FSP preparation
Studying in Nordrhein made me realise how difficult it is to prepare for the FSP alone without proper guidance. The structured course and close personal follow-up helped me discuss drug interactions and prescriptions confidently in German. I recommend the Academy to colleagues who want to save time and effort and approach the exam with confidence.

Preparing for the FSP was a major challenge, but joining VERBINDIX Academy changed everything. What impressed me most was the scientific accuracy and pharmaceutical depth of the material, alongside realistic exam simulations that help you face the examining board confidently, as if you had experienced the situation before. I recommend the Academy to every committed pharmacist.

CLEAR ANSWERS FOR YOUR JOURNEY
Choose with a clearer understanding.
Is this a general C1 course?+
No. The focus is pharmaceutical professional communication. It does not replace an external general-language examination or guarantee acceptance of a certificate by an authority.
Must I have B2 before starting?+
The programme needs a strong general German foundation. Course placement and official exam entry are different; your level should be assessed before booking. The relevant authority or chamber determines formal exam evidence.
Are the tasks identical in every state?+
No single task template should be assumed. Shared communication skills are combined with the latest instructions of the relevant provider; NRW has Nordrhein and Westfalen-Lippe chamber areas.
Will I learn only fixed exam cases?+
No. The outline emphasises case variations, listening, spontaneous responses and explaining information, rather than promising that memorised cases will appear.
Does online teaching mean an online official examination?+
No. Our teaching is online; official examination location and conditions are set by the examining body.
What happens if I need more preparation?+
Your final review should identify areas to practise. Any extra teaching, repeat simulation or extension must be separately specified in the approved cohort terms.
