SPECIALIST PHARMACY PREPARATION

Know the subject. Explain it with confidence.

Your professional preparation needs more than general German. FSP focuses on pharmaceutical communication; KP examines professional knowledge; Selbstmedikation develops practical counselling skills.

We connect learning with realistic pharmacy situations: listening carefully, asking relevant questions, explaining your reasoning and responding when a case changes.

FINAL REVIEW & EXAM SIMULATION

Finish with a clearer view of your readiness.

Our exam-preparation courses conclude with an individual final review and exam-style simulation. The aim is to make the examination situation more familiar and your next revision steps more specific.

  1. Review your performanceIdentify strengths and recurring gaps.
  2. Practise under exam-style conditionsWork through communication or knowledge tasks appropriate to your programme.
  3. Receive individual feedbackUnderstand what needs clarification, correction or further practice.
  4. Plan your final revisionFocus your effort on the areas that matter most for you.

Simulation is training, not an official exam or a guarantee of passing. The number, duration and included review arrangements will be specified for each cohort.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES

Preparation, in their own words.

Customer-submitted experiences. Individual experiences vary; these are not promises of examination outcomes.

The oral exam simulations for the FSP were a game-changer. They trained me to stay calm under pressure when explaining drug interactions and contraindications to a strict German examining board.

FSP preparation

Studying in Nordrhein made me realise how difficult it is to prepare for the FSP alone without proper guidance. The structured course and close personal follow-up helped me discuss drug interactions and prescriptions confidently in German. I recommend the Academy to colleagues who want to save time and effort and approach the exam with confidence.

YOUR STATE. YOUR EXAMINATION PROVIDER.

One professional goal.
Local requirements matter.

Explore the context for your chosen state. Official examination entry requirements and admission to our preparation courses are different.

Nordrhein-Westfalen

Apothekerkammer Nordrhein OR Apothekerkammer Westfalen-Lippe

One state, two chamber areas: Nordrhein and Westfalen-Lippe. Nordrhein announced updated tasks from January 2026. Confirm which chamber examines you.

Official-source summary checked · 12 Oct 2026

Entry requirements & preparation focus

Official examination entry

Check which chamber examines you. Westfalen-Lippe requires B2 evidence and referral following the Bezirksregierung Münster’s review; Nordrhein has its own instructions.

Preparation focus

Train for the relevant chamber’s patient conversation, written task and professional exchange. Do not treat the two chamber areas as identical.

Your current authority decision and examination invitation take precedence. These are not course admission conditions.

How to interpret this state guide

Shared pharmaceutical communication skills do not mean every provider uses identical tasks. KP follows a federal framework with a subject specified by the competent authority. Detailed documentary checks remain open for entries marked pending; no claim of complete verification across all 16 states is made.

CLEAR ANSWERS FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Understand the next step before you take it.

The questions that matter when you are choosing a programme.

Which programme should I start with?

Start with your language level and recognition stage. A1–B2 develops general German; FSP targets specialist communication; KP addresses the knowledge examination; Selbstmedikation supports applied counselling. Ask us to discuss your starting point before choosing.

Are courses online, and can I study from abroad?

Yes. Confirm your cohort’s live / recorded format, timetable in Europe/Berlin and technical requirements. Online teaching avoids travel to a classroom, but does not mean official examinations are remote or replace visa, residence or recognition requirements.

Do I need a different FSP course for every federal state?

The core communication skills overlap. Examination providers may differ in instructions, tasks and administrative procedures. We adapt preparation to the relevant provider rather than claiming 16 completely different national curricula.

Is KP exactly the same for everyone?

No. It has a federal legal framework covering pharmaceutical practice and special areas of pharmacy law, with an additional subject that may be specified by the competent authority. Your recognition decision matters.

Is Selbstmedikation an official recognition exam?

No. It is practical training in responsible non-prescription counselling. It supports professional development and may complement your exam preparation.

Will I receive a recognised language certificate?

A course certificate and an externally recognised examination certificate are different. Do not assume that completion of our course replaces a Goethe, telc or authority-required language examination.

Does the course guarantee that I will pass?

No. Individual review and simulation help you develop readiness. Official exam results and recognition decisions remain with the relevant examining bodies and authorities.

Are courses AZAV-approved or publicly funded?

No AZAV or funding claim is made in this review version. Any such information must identify the approved legal entity, the relevant programme and the applicable eligibility conditions, supported by valid documents.

Where are the timetable and prices?

Cohort dates, hours, group size, tuition fees, teacher details and booking terms are being finalised for this review. These must be supplied transparently before any paid enrolment.
